Good afternoon! On this rainy dayI wanted to share with you a couple of things on my mind and see what you’re thinking about.
Here goes:
- The execution of possibly innocent Troy Davis is on for tomorrow. When did it become alright to kill as justice?
- Don’t ask/Don’t Tell was repealed last night at midnight. Now we can honor ALL who serve this country in the name of freedom!
Its amazing how what we think about affects our days and our moods and our general well being. Today I feel disturbed about Troy Davis, I am saddened for the policeman’s family and friends; I feel proud of those protesting and fighting for Davis’ life; I am happy for those who can finally be their whole selves in their military careers; Finally I am thrilled I went for my run this morning in the rain! As I have said before, each day is a new day, a new opportunity to think new thoughts and to take new actions.
