The ultimate New Year’s Resolution!!

The New Year is upon us and this is the time when we infamously look back on our past year and evaluate: perhaps we laugh, perhaps we express regret, perhaps we express our gratitude.  Then we look ahead and we make promises to ourselves for the next year: we create resolutions to be better, to do better; we commit to exercise, eating right, saving money, loving others, doing more….You know what I mean!

Yes and its all wonderful!  Then time passes and some of those promises begin to fade….no judgement, it just happens, at least with me.

I want to approach this year differently.  I want to see and feel differently and I do that by saying YES TO GOD AGAIN!  By saying yes, I acknowledge the divine that resides inside of me.  That is, everything I could possibly need to achieve all that I want, I already have…God has already provided!! Woven magnificently in my DNA!  And that is so powerful!  We have within us the capacity and the potential to accomplish more than we can imagine, even if we can’t possibly fathom how now!  To achieve wholeness, abundance, joy, peace, freedom…right now! Look inside.  What do you see? Perhaps the very thing you think you don’t have is just waiting there, waiting for you to see it, to access it, to use it. Be open to new possibilities, new strengths, new capabilities within.  They are limitless!

God’s dream for us already exists. I pray that dream becomes my and your life!

What will you do today to make that happen?

Jesus said, “I tell you the truth: whoever believes in Me will be able to do what I have done, but they will do EVEN GREATER THINGS.” (John 14:12)

“…deep within each of us lie goodness unimagined, wisdom, music, talents of every variety, joy, peace, humility, love and spirituality.  Hidden away in each individual is a vast gold mine but as yet, only a few puny and thread-like veins have been discovered….Our fault lies, not in our lack of talent or potentials, but in our refusal to believe that it exists. Only after we can accept such a belief and have thus gained enough confidence to look within ourselves can our development go full steam ahead.” Jane Dunlap in Eric Butterworth’s Discover the Power Within You.
