Directions

As I drive across the western part of the country with my family this summer, I’ve been thinking a lot about directions. Here is an excerpt from my new book Becoming Who I Am, entitled Directions coming in September.

When going forward in life, it may seem at times overwhelming and unpredictable, resembling more a winding road with many twists and turns. But looking backwards, it always seems like a straight line; it makes sense! I was meant to be in those places at those times. Knowing that God has a purpose for my life (Jeremiah 29:11) keeps me grounded. Knowing that each experience, whether difficult or filled with joy, is an opportunity to learn from and listen to God, gives me confidence, courage and peace.

Remember forward

Believe backward.

Yes, i can identify with your thoughts. We are always growing and learning though the good and not-so-good…God has a way of teaching us like this as we become who we are supposed to be.
It takes a life-time, in my opinion..I’m so Thankful, He’s along the way with us for this amazing ride!

Thank you for the wonderful reminder that there is “purpose”!

  3. Thank you Wynn. Indeed, it is reassuring and comforting to know there is purpose, no matter what. Thank you for reading.
