Our Good Friday Narratives
We cannot deny the Good Friday narratives of our own lives. And this Good Friday, I rely on the promise that the death of Jesus is simultaneously the promise of new life and that death does not have the final word! Light and life will make a way.
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
