This tattoo on my opened arm reminds me of the hope for joy, for healing, for life, for new beginnings, for wholeness that I have and that is available to us all. No matter what, hold onto hope!
It changes question marks into exclamation points and periods into commas. There is more to come and light will always make a way.
West African adinkra symbol for Hope: nyame biribi wo soro.
This morning I read this:
“We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all- all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.” (Hebrews 4)
So awesome! That is the prayer in my writing. That we can put our stories in God’s hands and allow God’s into ours. I can follow a God who is in touch with my frailties, my weakness…and that gives me hope and power, healing and JOY!
“Tell me your story. I tell you my story.
New stories. Renew stories. I knew my story. My new story.
I have your story. Become your story. Be your story.
Stories, restore. Restore my story. Story restored.
