“I can see where implementing the DIGNITY Lens impacted the group and our outcomes. We were all challenged to grow personally and professionally as we adopted new technologies and ways of thinking about accessibility while also embracing the diversity of thought and perspective.’ly want to become.”

May you thrive with dignity in all you do!

Welcome to Thrive With Dignity, LLC! I founded Thrive With Dignity to share the work I am so passionate about- DIGNITY work. I have dedicated my writing and body of work to equipping others on this journey to recenter human dignity in our leadership activity and transformation journeys to become more authentic, where what we say we do and what we do align.  Thrive With Dignity provides the resources and tools to assist communities and individuals to better align their lived reality with their stated mission or purpose, thereby creating a more authentic existence. Authentic people make authentic communities which help to make a more authentic world! Both  in community and in individuals, DIGNITY work develops the needed capacity, makes progress and changes outcomes in real and tangible ways.

DIGNITY work is rooted in The DIGNITY Lens©: a comprehensive approach to strategic decisions and initiatives, centered on the seven strategies of Diversity, Identity, Growth, Nurture, Integrity, Transparency, and Yield. These seven strategies, in no particular order as they are not linear, are designed to provoke new questions for stakeholders, conduct integrity and identity audits, identify areas of growth and measurable outcomes to maximize authentic identity. DIGNITY work takes intentionality, curiosity and an openness to change and transformation, especially in challenging conditions.

What does the logo mean?

The logo includes the West African Adinkra symbol called Aya. It represents a fern, a symbol of ‘endurance, independence, defiance against difficulties, hardiness, perseverance and resourcefulness.’ Ferns can thrive in unusual places with minimal water or resources. DIGNITY work is most effective when applied to adaptive challenges, where to overcome them, requires learning, imagination and new capacity.  AYA signifies the ability to thrive and flourish even in adverse conditions.
